MorningStar
MorningStar Publications and Ministries was founded by Rick and Julie Joyner in 1985 with the biblical mandate of Matthew 24:45-46, “Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of his household to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.” To comply with this mandate, they seek to always remember they are here to serve the Master’s household, not be served by it. The way they are called to do this is by providing the household of faith with timely spiritual food. This is the focus around which every aspect of the ministry revolves. |

Friends of the Bridegroom
John the Baptist described himself as a "friend of the Bridegroom". His identity and joy were found in being a voice that prepared his generation for the first coming of Jesus Christ. The Friends of the Bridegroom Missions Base is comprised of eight distinct ministries. Seven are focused on training and/or outreach, however, at the very center of all they do at the Missions Base is the 24-hour a day Prayer Furnace. They call this non-stop worship with prayer the "International House of Prayer of Kansas City". It is at the core of all they do. The FOTB Missions Base in Kansas City is committed to prayer, fasting and the Great Commission as they go forth in the forerunner spirit exemplified in the life of John the Baptist. |
