Sunday School
Highlands Sunday School welcomes children ages four to eleven. Along with memory verses and Bible stories, kids receive prayer and teaching on the Holy Spirit. Each Sunday, the kids have their own worship session, to facilitate their entrance into the presence of God. Trivia games and other traditional methods, such as puppets, help students engage, but we don't want to limit kids to kid's stuff.
The heart of our program is for kids to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, mixed with a sense of the importance of Scripture. When children grow too old for Sunday School, we want them to be spiritually mature for their ages and fully equipped to join a progressive youth group. We love to see God move in our kids the same as He moves in our adults and their child-like faith makes it easy. |
