The vision of Highlands includes expression in the arts. God is creative, above all else. He communicates Himself many ways. He built us similarly. During worship in Sunday morning services, we make paper and paints available to all adults, for the creation of Holy Spirit-inspired, God-driven art. Most of our congregants have had no artistic training at all, but continue to amaze us with the variety and depth of their work.
During one service, Brenda Tarasenko produced an image of an eagle flying over the mountains. That piece became a symbol for the very heart of Highlands. It hangs at the head of our building and you can see it at the top of this website. Here are some more recent compositions from the Highlands family.
